Mr. Luff

Mr. Luff was unafraid of bow ties and strong winds. He hired and intimidated young professionals with advanced degrees into his firm. He'd been working on positioning himself for ten years as a New York advisor of strategic proportions. Not like all those tactical puffballs of PR floating down every block of mid-town agencies. He sold intellect like a marine taking a beach. He huddled in CEO offices and smoothly shared that he did. He alternately took confidentiality and credit to a personal best. He lunched with purpose with prospects and breakfasted with billable hour reports. However all of that was ancillary to his ethic upon which he built a life: he despised losing. And thus rarely did. He might have been the most charming person that you could never like.
